2009 ARENA FOOTBALL

Recreational will be $1450 per team with 8 games, no playoffs or standings.

  • Competitive will be $1600 per team with 8 games, standings, and playoffs.
  • Registration is accepted by TEAM only. No individual player registrations will be accepted; however we are taking names for the waiting list. Only players that played in a tackle league in the fall  of 2008 will be accepted for the waiting list.  If a team is looking for players, the coach will contact wait list players with registration information.
  • All rosters and team fees are due May 1.
  • Leagues will be forming for those completing grades 2-7.
  • Mandatory weigh-ins will be held at PSA on Saturday, May 2 (9AM - 2PM), Sunday, May 3 (6PM-9PM) and Thursday, May 7 (6PM-9PM). 
  • Only 2nd thru 5th grade must weigh in. 

2009 SUMMER FLAG FOOTBALL

PSA is starting a summer Flag League indoors!  All games will be played at PSA Star Center and the brand new permanent indoor field at PSA2.  Games begin on May 26 for Grades 1-7.

PSA offers a grade based tackle football program for players in Grades 2-6 and Flag Football program for PreK, Kindergarten and 1st Grade players

New for 2009 - Each team will play one regular season game at the new John Paul II High School Stadium!!!

Players over ball weight may still play, but they cannot carry the ball

                   4th Grade               100 lbs or less

                   6th Grade               130 lbs or less

PSA DOES NOT PROVIDE EQUIPMENT.

Players must have football helmet and cleats,shoulder pads, game and practice pants with pads. Games will be played at High Point Park and John Paul II High School Stadium

 

Flag Football

 

  • Individual Player Registration Fee:  $75

  • 8 game schedule with no play-offs or standings

  • Coaches Clinic August 15 @ PSA fron 2-3 PM

    PSA's FOOTBALL SKILLS ACADEMY

    Registration is now open.

    Location: PSA2 601 Seabrook Dr

    Academy starts the week of April 13

    8 Weeks -  Choose from:

    Monday 5:30-6:30 p.m.

    Tuesday 5:30-6:30 p.m.

    Friday    6:00-7:00 p.m.

    1 hour of fast paced training geared to teaching techniques for all positions along with improving speed and agility.

    Participants will learn proper technique for each position from experienced Youth Football Coaches:

             Quarterback

             Running Back

             Receiver

             Offense & Defense Line

             Linebacker

             Defensive Back

    Each session will focus on providing the participants with speed and agility training and off season conditioning

     Coaches bring your teams

    Great for anyone regardless of their football experience.

    Fee:  $150 includes tee shirt

    All players must be weighed by league officials at a designated time and place in order to be eligible to carry the ball.  Each coach is responsible for ensuring that all of his players have officially weighed in.  There are no exceptions.
